Reflexsive Verbs

Reflexive verbs describe actions that the person carries out for his/herself. You come across them quite often in French.
An example of one which you have probably come across already is... Je m’appelle
                                                                                                                             (I call myself)
There is always THREE parts to a reflexive verb. They are the
·         PERSONAL PRONOUN
·         REFLEXIVE PRONOUN
·         VERB
The personal pronoun is in etrĂª, which goes like...
Je    (I)                                                  Nous (we)
Tu   (you)                                             Vous (you plural)
Il/Elle/On (he/she/one)                    Ils/Elles (they masculine/feminine plural)
The you add a reflexive pronoun. They are...
Me                                                        Nous
Te                                                          Vous
Se                                                                 Se

Then you can add any verb that you like! Here is an example of one:
Se Laver (to wash yourself (infinitive))
Je me lave
Tu te lave
Il/Elle/On se lave
Nous nous lavons
Vous vous lavez
Ils/Elles se lavent
Note that each of the verbs have still got either their ‘ir’, ‘er’, or ‘re’ endings, depending on what the end of the infinitive is!
